I don't think I want to go back to how I was living before. I think I will welcome this change and make it permanent.
And where I left off, Hualien! Day started early with the taxi driver coming to pick me and the singaporean couple up!
A beauty on the way to Hualien
I love love loooove nature walks and hiking. So the main purpose of going to Hualien was for Taroko Gorge. So the following are pictures of the gorgeous gorge.
I found this incredibly sweet.
Tiansiang (天祥)
The Singaporean couple!
Cimu Bridge!
Crowned frog
This is known as the crowned frog. If you look closely. The rock is in a shape of a frog. And the shelter looks like a crown.
Swallow Grotto (燕子口)
Eternal Spring Shrine (長春祠 Changchun)
The rest of the photos are of the area around my hostel.
A house who's front was totally chopped off.
A not needed police station. Can't imagine anyone committing any crime!
Hualien was amazing! As you could probably tell, it was a rather sleepy town. Well, I did stay right at the entrance of the gorge. So I wasn't in town centre or anything. It was so relaxing. Everything seemed so backward and hushed. People were crazy relaxed and a lot of them were aboriginals who spoke in this awesome dialect. And everywhere seemed like no man's land! So lovely! I was invited to play card games whenever I made a trip to 7-11 (and trust me, I made lots of trips there). And hualien's also where I met my friend who I had adventures with in Taipei (my next stop). Shout out to you Aaron, if you're reading this!!
Bring me back! Now!
