Food, Noshes & Grub

If I had to name these few days, it would easily be 'Stuffyourfacewithasmuchfoodaspossible days'. Urgh, I feel terrible. I might as well have been injecting fats into my jaws, butt and chin (ohwait, which chin?!).

My family threw a steamboat as a kiiind of celebration for me passing A Levels and as a general Asian never ending food stuffing sesh. It was pretty awesome.

Can't wait to see this container(but a different one) filled with snacks next Chinese New Year!!

To continue with the epic-but-not-so-epic-for-my-fats eating continuum, I had lunch at a quaint pub called The Greene Man, in Buckinghamshire. I had Homemade burger with bacon, cheese, chips, onion rings and salad. It was by FAR the best pub meal I have ever had, LOOK AT THE FAT ASS CHIPS. And the burger was to-die-for tender.

Then on to a tea shop, after a long walk over golf courses, we had scones and tea over a book. This is life.

Then for dinner, smoked mackerel with couscous, made by yours truly. ;)

Fish & chips by the seaside with the fam on Monday. Damn fine, damn fine

THEN on Tuesday, Four seasons (a must must must have if you're in London) for dinner.

(no actual picture of the food cos when the food came it was straight into nomming)

BLEAH. Holiday over, time to do something good in my life. Like help an old lady cross the road or take up a sport... Haaaa, tough luck Naomi esther meiling berry.

I will start playing my drums again. Yes, I'll do that. Tomorrow I'll set them back up.

MBC Korean Culture Festival

A few months ago, specifically 23rd June, I went to the MBC Korean Culture Festival. And the guests invited were 4 Minute, Norazo and Ican'tbelievethey'rerookies-EXO K. I wasn't going to go at first but my friend hooked me up with her friend who was selling a spare ticket. The tickets were £16, which was REALLY good for a three hour concert and three Kpop groups.

The seats my friend's friend managed to get were rubbish. But when we walked in, they told us our seats had been moved to SIX ROWS FROM THE FRONT BOOYAH. We weren't even two metres away from them, we were like 1.9 metres away from them.

Anyhoos, Hyuna and if I remember correctly GaYoon were MCS of the concert. And in between the groups' performances were traditional Korean music and fashion shows which were modelled by the rest of 4 Minute.

4 Minute

Norazo; they were INSANE. The video below will explain

And the time came for my eardrums to die. The fans were crazy, and being so close to the speakers did not help.

Exo-K

Couple of Exo-K's videos. Screaming girls and bad fanchants, if its not your thing, move on.

I HAD video Kai's dance in Angel. *my gosh**swoon**flop**die*.

Five Years

A few days ago, on the 14th of August, it was five years since I moved to London. Every 14th of August is a pretty huge deal for me. I can't help but think about how much I've changed. If not for London, I would still be a fat-ass-toot girl who ONLY wore baggy clothes. I really wish I had a photo to show you guys... It was pretty freaky.

But more importantly, I wonder if I had remained in singapore, would I have ever chosen Psychology as a career path? Which brings me on to.....

I GOT INTO CITY UNIVERSITY TO DO PSYCHOLOGY.

Results day was on the 16th and the days running up to it were terrible. I was 99% sure I wouldn't get into my top choice of uni. When I got the email telling me I got accepted to both my first and second choice university, I felt like a stone in my heart had just burst into pieces (lulz).

I went to City university for an open day last September. And after sitting in a lecture in the brand new psychology building (and also sitting next to the sexiest guy I've ever laid my eyes on) I remember thinking I SO WANT TO COME HERE. But they were asking for AAB *Pisht* Days after the open day I kept getting emails from them saying 'Psychology at city: Ranked 2nd best in london. Have you applied yet?' A bit proud, but I applied, I got in, and I'm over the moon.

Unrelated photo of London and abrupt ending. Bai.
